Busy times and a reminder about the an upcoming Mike Prichard memorial activity

Things are getting kind of busy this week.

Mike’s mom returned to New Mexico after being here for a week. We all enjoyed the visit and it was so helpful to have her here. Her husband Frank had been here the week before and also helped greatly with the kids.

So I’m down one adult AND I am the proud new owner of a condemned house in an historic district and am about to purchase another fixer upper tomorrow.

BUT the info I really want to get out there is that on Saturday the 17th (time and details TBA) the kids and I and anyone who wants to join us at Jones Valley Urban farm downtown will help plant a blueberry and fig orchard which will serve as a memorial in Mike’s name. As soon as my phone tag game with the exec director of the farm ends, I’ll post more info. Check out my link to Jones Valley Urban Farm for more info about the place–it’s a great B’ham nonprofit that makes this city a great place to be.
