A letter from family friend Dan Boudreau

I did not have the privilege of knowing Mike Prichard all my life, the way I have with some of my friends. I had known his wife Chris for years, and in fact we had just taken an apartment on Grand Avenue, when she and Mike first met. To be honest, I wasn’t sure how I felt about all of that. Chris and I were supposed to be hanging out and having fun, but she was now spending most of her time with Mike, and I was spending most of mine sulking over losing my friend. Grateful for help and the for the ability to make small contributions

My friends Tom and Art from Minnesota stayed over for a long weekend visit. They and another couple had been planning to come to B’ham since May to experience Sidewalk and see Emmy Lou Harris with me and Mike. It wasn’t quite the visit we had planned, but I am glad they were able to come.

We didn’t see any film, but did go to the concert. Marley attended the concert, too, and she said that Mike was sitting next to her the whole time.
