Survived the weekend

This is going to be a short one, since I have about 5 more minutes of kid-free time. I am determined to get them bathed and in bed on time tonight and hopefully for the rest of the week. With any luck, we’ll even get to school once or twice on time.

My friend Wade has been tinkering with some “how to help” page ideas for the blog and with the calendar. Hopefully by weeks’ end we’ll get these up and that aspect of the site will be more user friendly.

The weekend was a mixed bag. Saturday was busy. I took the kids to the shambhala meditation center for the kids program and then we went to the farm where we buy some of our produce for a potluck/farm tour. Then we went home and watched a movie.

Had a quieter day at home today with some family cry time (several times), a playdate and break for me to go work out (thanks Kelli and Marcie) and a nice homemade veggie pie (thanks Mary and Fred).

It was nice to be home. Fred even got some junk out of my basement.

Still sad, tired, confused.

My type A is trying to come out and convince me to go to the Greenbuild seminar in Chicago that Mike and I had planned to go to and make contacts for our dream business that we were about to launch this year. The seminar is the first week of November. Call me insane.

We’ll see. Anyway, thanks for everything.

I’m planning a workday here for people who want to help out this coming Saturday the 20th. I think from 10-. I’ll buy beer/water and pizza. More details tomorrow.

Chris
